Aerazur Superflexit is developing for years innovative wiring protection components including conduits, braids, backshells, fittings and transitions. Aerazur is proposing not only a wide range of products qualified according to the main standard but has developed capabilities to design components for specific application in order to answer to any customer requirements.

Conduit and Braids

Aerazur Superflexit offers a wide range of electrical wire protections composed with protection and insulation conduit combined with metallic electromagnetic screening braid or/and outer textile sheath for mechanical and abrasion protection. Those conduit systems have been developed to provide a complete range of protection in order to answer to the main aeronautics and military specification. Aerazur Superflexit conduit combinations are qualified according to aeronautics standards.

Backshells, Fittings, Transition

Aerazur Superflexit has been developing for years a wide range of backshells, transitions, fittings for Aeronautic and military applications. This product range includes Stainless steel, Aluminium and composite components which are designed to be used with all current and specific wiring protection technologies (Conduit systems, Overbraiding technology systems, Heatshink technology system and overmolded technology).

Aerazur Superflexit backshells have been developed to fit with all main Aeronautics and military programs and can be used with all connectors main standards. Aerazur is qualified according to a large range of Aeronautic standards. In addition Superflexit engineering team experience and qualification capabilities allow to develop specific and innovative solutions in order to meet any customer new requirement and to support its customer for any new challenging project.

Composite Backshells

Innovators in wiring protection systems Aerazur Superflexit has developed a range of low weight composite backshells for various types of wiring protection technologies such as overbraiding technology or conduit assembly technology. Those backshells are meeting latest Aeronautics wiring protection requirements as lightning effect, EMI protection, corrosion protection and are including self locking systems.

"Flexiwrap" Open conduit

In order to propose to its customers more and more flexible and easy assembling solutions, Aerazur Superflexit has developed an open conduit family "FLEXI-WRAP G80" for wiring protection and easy installation. This conduit is halogen free and can be used for large range of temperature. It has been designed in order to allow a very good mechanical protection combined with a very easy way of installation. This conduit is dedicated for application on Airbus programs only in compliance with standard EN 6049-06.

Electrical harnesses

Innovators in wiring protection activities Aerazur has developed its capability to design qualify and manufacture complete harnesses systems for Military and Aeronautic applications. This combination of wiring protection capability and wiring activities allows Aerazur to be very active in Aeronautic business.

Electrical harnesses for Landing Gear

Aerazur is designing, qualifying and manufacturing landing gear harnesses. Aerazur has gained a strong experience on most of major programs and is now world leader for the supply of landing gear harnesses. AERZUR Superflexit is now providing a complete support to his customers including the on-site 3D dressing (including hydraulic, fixations and electrical harnesses) design, qualification up to A/C certification and supply of complete kits.
In order to meet any requirements, Aerazur has developed several systems which are used on civil, military or helicopter programs. Aerazur is currently world leader for the supply of landing gear harnesses.

Helicopter Rotor De-icing harnesses

Aerazur has developed in partnership with major helicopter manufacturers a wiring protection system for Blade rotor De-icing and blade folding application. Those harnesses are combining extreme level of mechanical protection and high level of environmental requirements. For this application a specific test facilities including rotor and blade dynamic simulation and climatic requirement has been developed to demonstrate and qualify Aerazur harnesses performances.

Electrical boxes

Aerazur has developed for years the capability to design, qualify and manufacture electrical boxes combining high mechanical requirements and electrical constraints. This know-how based on major aeronautic programs experiences allows Aerazur to be a specialist of electrical boxes as towing or steering control boxes which are requesting combinations of very high mechanical and electrical requirements.

Military Vehicles & Weapon Harnesses systems

Aerazur has developed specific wiring protection systems in order to propose to each military application and environment the most efficient product. Those systems are combining standard improved products (system 4000) with specific technologies as overbraiding and overmolding in order to meet the more extreme requirements in term of environmental or electromagnetic conditions.

Low pressure hoses

Aerazur is developing for years a range of low pressure hoses for military, naval, railway and Aeronautic applications. Today Aerazur is supplying aerial fuel transfer hoses to Air forces and is also manufacturing naval fuel transfer system for military applications.

Those capabilities allow Aerazur Superflexit to develop hoses for specific application as escape hoses or railways cooling.

Engineering support & technologies

Aerazur Superflexit has developed high engineering development capabilities in order to propose to his customer innovative solution and a high level of support. Aerazur is able to provide a complete support starting with 3D design combined with specification redaction until complete qualification and support documentation.

Aerazur Superflexit is able to provide landing gear complete dressing including brackets design, hydraulic dressing and electrical harnesses and to supply complete kits to landing gear manufacturer.

Superflexit technologies

In order to propose the most competitive products to its customers Aerazur Superflexit has developed several wiring protection systems which answer to the own requirements of each main application. Those systems are fully improved and some of them became Aircraft manufacturer standards for several applications.

Superflexit "FLEXSYSTEMS 2000"

FLEXSYSTEMS 2000 proposes a wide range of flexible conduits and fittings compatible with most threaded connectors used in aeronautic and aerospace industries. Its main characteristics are its lightness and its modularity coming from combination of standard components. This system is mainly used on wings, fuselage, engine pods and generally wherever high value of mechanical protection combined with electrical continuity is required.

Superflexit "FLEXSYSTEMS 3000"

FLEXSTYSTEMS 3000 is a semi-modular system which is manufactured from stainless steel. This system provides an excellent corrosion resistance and indefinite shelf life. All components have been optimised to provide weight saving in order to propose weight optimization for aeronautics application. This system proposes a wide combination of flexible conduits , fittings, bent rigid tubing, transitions and accessories to propose the best answer to any specific application. FLEXSYSTEMS 3000 has been selected by all landing gear manufacturer for the latest major programs. This solution is becoming the main standard for landing gear application.

Superflexit "FLEXSYSTEMS 4000"

FLEXSTYSTEMS 4000 has been developed to meet the requirements of the defence or railway industries. This system is currently used on most of French military vehicles especially for the engine, gearbox and cockpit wiring harnesses. System 4000 components have been also designed submarine, trains. It offers combinations of flexible conduits fittings, transitions and accessories available from catalogue or developed for specific applications.

Superflexit "FLEXSYSTEMS 5000"

Innovators in wiring protection systems Aerazur Superflexit has developed a range of stainless steel and composite backshells to be used for over-braiding technology. Those backshells have been designed to answer to a wide range of environmental requirements. Those backshells are following most of aeronautic connector standards and can be used with any type of overbraiding solutions.

Heat shrinkable technology

Aerazur Superflexit is proposing a wide range of standard technology as heathrinkable technology and has developed a high level of industrialisation in order to guarantee to its customers the best quality of products. Aerazur has been selected for the supply of heatshinked harnesses for major European military programs. In addition Aerazur has conducted a range of tests such as (lightning tests) in order to qualify such technology for the "high-requirements" activities.

Moulding technology and over moulding systems.

Aerazur Superflexit has developed for years a very good experience on flexible materials and rubber parts production. This know how has been applied to wiring protection system in order to combined standard wiring protection systems with the advantages of moulding capabilities. This innovative way of working allows Aerazur to propose original and very efficient solutions to answer to any customer problem. Very challenging problems such as blade rotor harnesses and bomb harnesses have been successfully solved using combination of wiring protection and overmolding activities. Aerazur had developed a unique know how with this technology.
